Whistleblower Scheme

We have established a whistleblower scheme, which you can read more about on this page. We encourage you to read this before reporting your suspicion or concern through the scheme.

Who can use the whistleblower scheme?
Only InstallerGroup’s employees, board members, and others associated with InstallerGroup can make a report to the whistleblower scheme (“whistleblowers”).

What can you report?
You can use our whistleblower scheme if you have knowledge or reasonable suspicion of serious violations of law and other serious matters, as well as breaches of EU law as defined in the European Parliament and Council Directive on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law. This may include, for example:

  • Criminal offenses, e.g., fraud, embezzlement, misuse of assets, forgery of documents, accounting manipulation, bribery, corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing
  • Breaches of competition and procurement rules
  • Danger to individuals’ health and safety, including serious or repeated breaches of work safety
  • Significant breaches of environmental rules and pollution of the environment
  • Breach of confidentiality
  • Violations of privacy protection and personal data
  • Serious violations of internal guidelines and rules in InstallerGroup (e.g., individual companies’ employee handbooks and guidelines)
  • Discrimination, severe bullying, severe harassment, physical violence, threats, and sexual harassment

The above are only examples. If you are in doubt whether your report falls within the whistleblower scheme, we encourage you to use our whistleblower scheme. The report will then be assessed, and you will receive feedback on whether your report is covered by the scope of the whistleblower scheme.

Issues such as collaboration difficulties, dissatisfaction with salary conditions, minor violations of internal guidelines on sick leave, smoking, alcohol, use of office supplies, etc. should not be reported through the whistleblower scheme but should be reported through our normal management structure, i.e., to the immediate supervisor.

Do not use the whistleblower scheme to report events that pose an immediate threat to life or property. If you need emergency assistance, please contact the public emergency services.

We encourage you to use our whistleblower scheme if you have a concern or suspicion about serious matters. However, you can also choose to report your suspicion or concern to the external whistleblower schemes set up by the authorities.

PwC
Your report goes directly to an external third party (PwC Statsautoriseret Revisionspartnerselskab “PwC”). PwC is an independent audit, tax, and advisory firm that receives reports on behalf of InstallerGroup to ensure an independent channel for you who report. Subsequently, your report is forwarded for processing at InstallerGroup.

PwC conducts an initial assessment of whether the report is covered by the whistleblower scheme and engages in dialogue with the whistleblower, if there is a need for additional information, or if the report gives rise to follow-up questions.

PwC will then conduct an impartiality assessment to determine who can handle the report in InstallerGroup, so that the report can be processed by an impartial and competent person in InstallerGroup and thus not forwarded to a person whom the report directly or indirectly concerns, or where there may be a risk of conflict of interest.

ESG Officer in InstallerGroup
The ESG Officer in InstallerGroup is responsible for the whistleblower scheme throughout InstallerGroup. The ESG officer is a specially competent and independent person who is responsible for ensuring thorough follow-up on reports, as well as assessing what measures need to be implemented based on your report.

Confidentiality, objectivity, and anonymity
Everyone who receives and do follow-ups on reports are subject to confidentiality requirements. Investigations of reports are conducted with due regard for independence, confidentiality, data protection, and security.

InstallerGroup and PwC fully treat all information about the identities of the whistleblower and the affected individuals with the utmost confidentiality possible. Whistleblowers have the right to remain anonymous.

Protection of the whistleblowers
InstallerGroup does not tolerate any form of retaliation or harassment against whistleblowers.

A whistleblower who, in good faith, reports a reasonable suspicion or concern through the whistleblower scheme will not face retaliation or negative consequences, including employment-related consequences, even if the report later proves to be unfounded.
